It’s a selling spree in Lafayette Park these days, with two more Mies units now on the market. We’ve seen so many this year, and honestly, they’re generally selling for their asking prices. These two are both the same size (three bedrooms, one and a half baths), but have different finishes and styles. Let’s take a look at the next two and compare. As always, questions about living in the co-ops can be answered at Mies Detroit, including questions about the $882 HOA fees.
The first is energy efficient, according to the listing, with a Geo-Thermal heating system, tempered double-pane windows, and a new hot water tank. It has an odd layout for its galley kitchen; it seems like it could be utilizing space for storage better. It has storage space in the basement, along with an older bar area. There’s Brazilian teak wood flooring downstairs and carpeting upstairs. The price? $369,900.
The second one is an end unit with the original kitchen appliances. It also has thermal pane windows and geo-thermal heating and cooling, but this unit looks like it could stand to be updated a bit. It does have some pretty nice courtyard views, and it’s listing for $329,000.
Don’t worry. By the time you read this, we’re sure another unit will be listed, and we’ll update you on the sales.
