The internet now has a brand new view of Detroit. Frequent users of Google Earth will notice the 3D aerial imagery of the Motor City was very recently updated. Taken last September (from what we can tell) the new images cover downtown and much of the east side with more vibrancy and a higher resolution than their predecessors from 2011. The update also reflects significant changes to the city's landscape. Brush Park, for example, has an empty spot where the Brewster-Douglass projects used to stand. Downtown, a pair of parking lots have been filled with the Z-Lot development. Best of all, the photos were taken on what looks like a beautiful day. See for yourself on Google >>.
