Reading the local real estate listings in the Detroit area is enough to make an English teacher (or anyone with a basic grasp of the English language) shudder in horror. Is there no grammatical accountability in real estate offices in this city? Does no one care that a large number of these listings are littered with misspellings, grammatical errors, EMBARASSINGLY AMATEUR USE OF ALL-CAPITAL LETTERS, etc.? In this era of Twit-speak and the general, overall degradation of the English language, can't realtors atleast take small steps like using SpellCheck...and NOT USING ALL CAPITAL LETTERS? It's sort of like graffiti: When you see it in a neighborhood, it looks like no one gives a *#$@ and makes one lose respect. -Frank Lloyd Wrong [Ominous Things Real Estate Agents Say]
