The Detroit-based artist that gave us the Heidelberg Project (a public art park crossed with dumpster-diving style materials reclamation) has a new kid's book. Tyree Guyton titled it "Magical Trash" and he'll sign it for you this weekend. Maybe he'll even be willing to answer the inevitable question "Art or Trash?" for some nine-year-olds. "The book describes how Guyton, with help from his grandfather and then others, turned his neighborhood into an enchanting, sometimes controversial wonderland of colored dots, stuffed animals, toys, shoes and more."
