Last Friday's date, 11/11/11, was numerically exciting for a bit, but we thought the hoopla was over. Turns out the Cranbrook Art Museum, which unveiled a major renovation last Friday, is still running with it. They planned 11 days of opening events during which the museum is open 11 hours each day. If you head out before next Monday you can also catch a Saarinen house tour while you are at it. Over the weekend, we dispatched Curbed contributing photog and Lafayette Park resident Matt Elliott to capture the serene scene.
