We've been enjoying The Green Garage's facebook and Flickr updates for a while, but now that the first two tenants have taken office space, we just can't get enough. (As in: that conference room looks gorgeous and we've never had need for one in our blogging life but are tempted to rent it just for bragging rights!) In the 1920s the building was a showroom for Model T-based automobiles; Peggy and Tom Brennan bought it in 2008 and now, as the long renovation wraps up Peggy has told Curbed that the offices of the advocacy agency, New Solutions, and the film company, Final Five Productions have arrived. When all is said and done, there should be room for fifteen companies to rent, but they are staggering the move-ins. As the website explains, the Green Garage is not just another beautiful midtown building; it is also a business enterprise and a community dedicated to Detroit's sustainable future.
