Welcome to Detroit, Crowdsource city! Yesterday the voting ended on the Hatch competition to award one idea for a retail space $50,000 in start up funds (Winner TBD). So now where will do-gooder Detroiters turn their attention? Suggestions are hopping over at the newly launched TalktotheStaion site, the place for crowdsourced ideas on what to do with the abandoned train station, Michigan Grand Central. And while there are plenty of reasonable ones, like turning it back into a center for transportation, we turn our attention now to the best part of crowdsourcing: watching the general public try to out-crazy one another.
