I've been thinking about Mr. Moroun over the last few days as I read over the entries at talktothestation.com... Maybe there is room for a bargain here. In return for supporting the construction of a new public bridge to Canada, a hypothetical new regional transit authority would be given funds to renovate the MCS and make it the central hub of a regional transit system, while Mr. Moroun would remain the owner. The redevelopment of MCS would also greatly improve the value of his surrounding properties. Farfetched, I know. But it is time to wake up and start dreaming, according to a mural in my alleyway. -jayarem [Train Station Development Makes the Detroit News Suspicious]
