Groundbreaking architecture it is not. But a Detroit McDonald's restaurant underwent a facade facelift and came out looking a little better and a lot more modern. Gone is the gaudy red roofing in favor of slightly more refined red-box with a minimal roof line. We favor the Play Place's new stripes over the old graphics for sure. Yes, it's looking a lot less late-90s over there near I-75, and we think that is something even vegans can appreciate on their way to buy Kale at Eastern Market.
