Interesting. Just last night I ran into an old friend who's a DPD cop. We were talking about how he used to work out of the 13th Precinct on Woodward, which is now offices for the Wayne County Sheriff. I asked about it because I had heard that Fishbone's had planned on putting a restaurant in the space, but it never happened. He said it was because they didn't want to deal with removing the lead from the shooting range in the basement. That probably wasn't the only problem in the deal, but it still brings up an interesting issue. All of the Detroit police precincts that are now closed most likely have basements full of lead. -scientist76 [Police Precinct to Become Gallery, Home to Banksy Mural]
