Let the after-Christmas sale buying-binge begin! Dan Gilbert is setting the pace with the announcement that he scooped three more downtown Detroit properties via his company Rock Ventures Group. The Wright-Kay Building (left), originally the Schwankovsky Temple of Music (completed in 1891) is located at 1500 Woodward Ave and will become street-level retail with offices or residential units above. Down the street at 1520 Woodward is the Lane-Bryant Building (right) which will have retail on the ground floor and office space above. Lastly, the Arts League of Michigan Building at 1528 Woodward Avenue (not pictured above) will offer a mix of retail and office space.
