Lights Out!

The New York Times can't find Highland Park in the dark and thinks that what it cannot see might not be there at all. The paper says "when the sun sets in this small city, its neighborhoods seem to vanish." Ok yeah. There is a streetlight issue that rather sucks for residents. But listen, city-that-never-sleeps and gussied up the middle of town (Times Square) like a disco ball dipped in glitter with sprinkles on top: things don't disappear after dark OR become "wide open cornfields of Iowa."
