This Ham Town rental claims that it was totally renovated in 2008 and while it's not the most spiffy we've seen recently, its about par for the course in this ultra-working class hood which is slowly becoming an artist haven. The apartment has 1,000 square feet, two-bedrooms, and a quite decent location in the center of the two-square-mile city in the midst of Detroit. And lest you think this hood is all about meat and potatoes Polish foods, enjoy walking to Banglatown or Maria's Comida. It can all be yours to rent for $525 a month. Might we suggest asking the landlord to reconsider the pink walls before you sign?
