Detroit's Homeless to Displace Yellow Pages Sign

New, 1 comment

The Yellow Pages itself may be completely obsolete, but that does not mean the sign atop the Michigan Bell Telephone Building in Detroit won't be sorely missed. The building is becoming a homeless shelter with 155 apartments. The new building owners have tried to find someone to take the 32-feet-by-48-feet sign atop the 1929 building, but so far no takers.
