The owner of the Detroit's abandoned train station and the Ambassador bridge that connects the city to Canada is in jail. Matty Moroun and the Detroit International Bridge Company President (Dan Stamper) are supposed to stay there until the Gateway project is complete. This is the $230 million project by the Ambassador Bridge that was meant to improve freeway access; Moroun is accused of changing his agreement with the city in favor of building a duty-free store and gas station. It is unclear how long, at this point, he'll be in jail but it could be a while. Best to make like Martha and craft it out. [MLive]
