Today the Detroit News announces that the The Detroit Medical Center is breaking ground Tuesday on its Heart Hospital. This $78 million, five-story hospital building should open in 2014 and looks like it will be ready to blow through some serious light bulb wattage. Let's hope some of those are LEDs. Quips Jeff T. Wattrick from MLive "This new facility will be so amazing that, based on architectural renderings, it will have giant flood lights to attract patients. Like a casino or a carnival."
