Did the whipping wind hurl the Wurlitzer building's bricks down or did it just throw them at us? Now a rear section is gone. "This was the part of the brick facing that has been bulging out for months, and it just came down," said Chris Jaszczak, who lives adjacent to the mess above 1515 Broadway Café. (We learned earlier this week that he and the cafe might be facing the threat of eviction.) Somehow, no one has been hurt in the last year since building and safety officials issued a report saying the building was a threat to pedestrians and People Mover patrons.
