Real estate mogul and New Yorker Tony Goldman was back in town last week. Thus far, he has not said which Detroit buildings he is buying but we're guessing something is still in the pipeline. He spoke at a conference organized by MBA candidates from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Goldman told the kids, "There are lots of cheap stores downtown. Connect with operators — kindred landowners, space makers, place makers — and partner with them to build your business and the critical masses of businesses to draw the public.
