As a Curbed commenter just pointed out, the drab addition to Gilbert's new building can be attributed to generally adored architect Minoru Yamasaki. Yikes. Guess working for a bank in 1951 was less than inspiring. Well, there's a cure for that and it is called cash. Gilbert spent $12 M to renovate the M@dison Building. Here's hoping he is saving up even more Millions for the Fed Re$$y. [CommentWire]
