New construction in Detroit: it does exist! Here is the scene last week at The Auburn, a building that will become the home for the Hugh retail shop once completed in the fall, as well as other ground-floor retailers. The building is supposed to offer 58 more apartments to midtown, which should go over well with the continuing Live Midtown incentive program. The developer for the project, The Roxbury Group, is also behind the David Whitney Hotel project; this their first new construction in midtown.
