When Detroit goes to build a jail, Detroit gets busy! Here's an image that was posted on the Wayne County Sheriff Connect blog earlier today showing progress on the construction site that will become the new jail. The facility will take up seven acres and is supposed to be completed in September of 2014. With the site at the corner of Eastern Market, Downtown, and Lafayette Park, we're wondering which hood will get the "privilege" of claiming one of the biggest recent works of new construction. Thoughts?
