Are you obsessed with foreclosure auctions, fixer-upper mansions, and local scrapper sagas? Oh boy do we have the job for you! Founding Curbed Detroit editor Sarah F. Cox is moving on and, effective immediately, Curbed is looking for a new editor to take her place. Think you've got what it takes? The job involves daily blogging about the people, neighborhoods and built environment that make Detroit the weird and fascinating place that it is. You don't need to be a real estate expert, but you do need to be obsessed with the buildings and neighborhoods that make up this great city. This a freelance gig with commensurate pay and applicants must be based in the Detroit metro area. If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to jobs@curbed.com with a brief description about yourself, a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job, and links to your personal blog and Twitter account. Include "Curbed Detroit" in the subject line. (If you're employed in the real estate industry, alas, we can't use you. But we still love you.) If we like what we see, we'll follow up quickly. Thanks.
