My family and I took a visit this week to see the house on Burlington. In its day, it had to have been magnificent, easily holding its own against the absolute beauty of a neighboring home that stands next to it. The house is inviting, leaving an impression that the potential to restore will justify the sweat equity and capital necessary to do so. The second floor layout is perfect, the third floor is completely workable but in one man's opinion, this is a case of a home that has been neglected far longer than it should have been. New roof is mandatory, and I'd strip it down to its frame to rebuild and modernize without bastardizing Clarence Day's vision. Hopefully it falls into the right hands. -Craig Daitch [Six Bedroom Tudor Chops Even More! $23 K Gone From The Ask]
