It does look like a Hampton Inn trying to be "hip" and sadly missing the mark. Birmingham is not "urban," it's more like a giant outdoor mall. An upscale one, but a mall nonetheless. It is criminal that someone is willing to ask $2 million for this, when mansions in Indian Village and Palmer Park sell for under $400k, and Mies Van Der Rohe townhouses sell for under $200k.
