Interesting news from all the way down in Lincoln Park: After serving as an adult movie theatre since the 1980s, the classic Lincoln Park Theatre will be given a much more dignified purpose (and hopefully a thorough scrubbing) as affordable housing. The Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency is the nonprofit behind the project, which will see the theatre converted to 12 loft units and the original facade restored. Construction is expected to take 14-16 months.
