Ambassador Bridge owner Matty Moroun's attempt to block the construction of a government-built bridge from Detroit to Windsor was shot down by the voting population yesterday. Deadline Detroit reports that Moroun spent at least $33 million on ads for the proposal and lost by about 60-40 percent. Ouch. Perhaps Diane Sawyer will get him drunk to cheer him up.
