If you wanted to build, say, a new arena in Detroit's lower Midtown area, you'd be very interested in the real estate owned by the Detroit Veterans Center. According to Mlive, the group is close to selling some prime territory ("at least" 6 parking lots of it) near Woodward and Temple after years of negotiations.
