Movin' On Up

The Brookings Institute has ranked Detroit #108 out of the world's top 300 largest metropolitan economies in terms of economic performance. Keep in mind, we came in at #297 during the last round of rankings, so we've come a long way. They're even calling Detroit a "pocket of growth," which is one of the nicest things an economist will ever say to a Rust Belt city. [Brookings]
