This architecture reminds me of the Eichler house I used to live in a while ago in Palo Alto, California. The eponymous architecture is named after Joseph Eichler and was loosely termed "California Modern." The objectives was to "bring the outside in" via floor to ceiling glass, etc. In Palo Alto and Moutain View these homes are now "tear downs" that go for a $1 million not $59,000 as they do in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.-Iaspegren [Surprising Fact: St. Clair Shores Harbors Hip, Dwell-like Dwellings]
