I've been there, and I am neither a early twenties post-collegiate partier, nor an early thirties, just married, new parent. I am late 20's, unattached, and early career professional and I cannot stand the Detroit Metro suburbs. The further from Woodward the worse it gets, in my opinion. I sympathize with those who agree with me and support living in the city. However, I accept that not everyone agrees with me, and not everyone wants to live my lifestyle, and for that they can live where they like, how they like. Detroit blogs still get to mock them though, because the 'burbs are lame. It's like miles upon miles of visiting my grandma. -Anon [Comment of the Day]
