Ruin Porn Products

Before you get too excited, that's not a Detroit house. But it is tiny and it is an awesome idea that Detroit needs to adopt to make more money on ruin porn products. Things Magazine posted this photo which is part of a "series by Ofra Lapid that is based on photographs of destroyed and neglected houses. However, these buildings were recreated as small, precise scale models and again photographed in the studio: a mock-up of destruction." How great would it be if a local artists went through the Curbed archives and produced a line of coffee table-sized architecture? Mini-things! We love them! Even better: Europeans can safely invest, since the houses won't need fixing or tenants. [Things Magazine]
