Alright..it worked...are you happy now? This NYer is silently weeping on his keyboard, having just written my monthly rent check for $2100. For my Manhattan studio apartment. I did a quick look for something comparable to this Detroit loft in NYC, just for comparison's sake. I found a 1-bedroom Tribeca (downtown hipster neighborhood) loft. See video link if you want to feel extra-smug about living in Detroit. It's for rent at $6800 per month.
