It seems like forever ago that we first told you that the Dime Savings Bank Building next to Nemo's in Corktown would be transformed into an Italian restaurant (It was November.) Today we caught up with one of the building owners, Bryan Brincat, to tour the progress. As he explains, they're refurbishing with the intent of keeping the historic character (loan sign outside included). Floors are getting a second coat of sealer soon, and the area in the back where the safe used to be shall be a kitchen. High ceilings and big windows are a pretty great pasta side dish if you ask us.
