Wayne County officials spent last week trying to convince the Germans to send some of their engineering jobs to the Jetsonian-sounding Aerotopolis. More of a hub than anything else, Aerotropolis is something Wayne County has been pushing for a couple years now. It's a buzz word to promote the fertile land of industry between I-75, I-94, I-96, Detroit Metro Airport, Willow Run Airport, countless rail lines, and the Great Lakes.
