Belle Isle Billboard-Gate

New, 1 comment

The Belle Isle Billboard controversy we broke yesterday was covered in the Free Press today. The project is being described as a necessary way "to give emergency officials a sure way to send information to the public outside of regular everyday communications in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack." We've seen a lot of reasons for bad designs in this town, but we're pretty sure this is the first time the terrorists were the scapegoats blamed to justify it. As it turns out, they also picked this terrible outfit we are wearing today. Damn them. [Freep]
