Even More Miesmazingness! Another Coop Enters The Market

New, 4 comments

Here now, From Curbed Marketplace, highlighting an intriguing real estate listing from the many thousands of properties found in the Curbed Marketplace

You may have noticed we have a longing for Ludwig living. We tend to get obsessed every time (no, really) one of the Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe-designed coops gets listed. And today's is a beaut that seems to need less renovation work than its neighbors, so we're extra excited. Of course, you'll pay a bit more for it. The ask is $134,000, while the units that came on the market less than two months ago asked $89,900 and $92,500. But this 1,400 square foot home boasts Sub Zero Appliances and seems to have a nicely updated kitchen in line with the home's modernism. The bathrooms and floors look pretty darn good too, which is important. We've heard of new buyers acquiring these units with shag carpets from the 70s. You'll also notice that this doesn't seem to be one of the units that faces the parking lot, so greenery galore is also worth a bit more. Miesmazingness? We think so. Update: A resident writes that, "while it's on the park, it also overlooks a parking lot in the front."
