A Three-Level Corktown Loft Loses $38 K From The Price

New, 1 comment

Up until April 11, this one-bedroom was asking $235,000. Now Zillow is saying the listing has been removed but MLS says it is back on the market as a short sale with a new price: $197,000. The loft is 2,093 square feet and was remodeled in 2002. It's unit number one and they are saying it can be used for residential or commercial purposes, so it sounds like you are on the first floor. Which is not so bad considering you can enter through the garage door from your parking spot on those bad weather days. There is a $300/month condo fee. We've always loved this building from the outside, though it could stand to lose the billboard topper in terms of architectural character. But it is hard to beat this block of Corktown, which is gorgeously chock full of Victorian homes and puts you in walking distance to St. CeCe's pub.
