The Dime Building, owned by Dan Gilbert, is getting a dose of the auto industry. Chrysler has reached an agreement to lease two floors of office space, taking up approximately 30,000 square feet for 70 employees. Which gives the company the opportunity to do some fancy self congratulating on getting a head-honcho into the city. Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne is going to work there too, when he is not at the world headquarters in Auburn Hills. We think he should be required to wear an "Imported From Detroit" tee-shirt on the days he is in the burbs. [The Detroit News]
