Detroit Works Project 2.0

The Detroit Works Project, Mayor Bing's city planning-ish initiative, held a press conference today. It was part of the ongoing effort to, "clarify its perception after the project was established two years ago, around the same time Bing pushed ideas of reducing city services in near-vacant neighborhoods." Reports indicate that no groundbreaking news was released, but star urban planner Toni Griffin spoke (and seems to have changed her hair since the project started!) and there should be some news on the next phase in August.
