An new store in Eastern Market aims to "connect people to Detroit's history — and what it was like to shop in the city during the first three decades of the 20th Century." You know, "the golden era of Detroit." Because we hear retail therapy was a great cure for the WWI blues. (Though they would have called it the Great War then).
