Comment of the Day

I think that if this neighborhood can organize a neighborhood association as successful as the nearby Palmer Woods, Sherwood Forest, and University District associations, it could deal with crime and other quality of life issues quite well. Palmer Woods is very very close to the blighted and struggling district by the state fairgrounds, yet it succeeds due to excellent neighborhood organization. If there can be a quality Palmer Park Apartment District 501(c)3 organization formed, this could be the next hot spot. After all, how many people in 2000 though that the blighted "Cass Corridor" would become "Midtown" the most exciting district the city has only ten years later. -Joel Arnold [Could The Next Hot Area For Rentals Be Palmer Park?
