Detroit bus system, meet the world of technology. Since April, 95 percent of DDOT buses have been using a tracking system that can update expected arrival times for unexpected delays. In September, DDOT hopes to unveil a cellphone application so riders can check to see exactly when their buses will be arriving. Code for America, a nonprofit that helps cities, is developing it now.
