The proposed Light Rail line in Detroit missed an opportunity on some money today, but did not totally lose out. Looks like we are on for a withholding game! Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood told the M-1 chairman that the $25 million from a new round of grants has been set aside for Detroit for later. He's waiting for the project to to resolve five issues outlined earlier this month, including a plan to cover operating costs. [The Detroit News]
