Michigan's second largest city, Grand Rapids, is being treated to a photo exhibition of all our abandoned buildings courtesy of Andrew Moore. Moore's travelling picture show, which has already been seen in Akron, Ohio and Queens, New York, debuts at the Grand Rapids Art Museum on Thursday, June 21st. Moore says that he doubts the gallery will ever make it to Detroit because he thinks "Detroit is treating the whole subject of its physical decline of its city much more gingerly.” What say you, Detroit? Think we can handle another photograph of the train station? [MLive]
