This image was sent in yesterday to show that the hole in the Van Dyke mansion that used to be covered by plywood is now letting it all hang out. We don't have any updates on what sort of trouble the scrapping-ordering owner is in at this point, but a local architect expects that Mike Mallet (or someone representing him) will be at an upcoming Historic District Commission meeting to discuss how he wants to modify the building. The next two meetings are Weds., July 11 and Weds., August 8, both at 5:30 PM.
