Trashed

Detroiters can't stay away from Riverside Park. Not even with city signs declaring "Restricted Use" and "environmental contamination." Um, gross. According to the Detroit News, visitors are known to trash the 20-acre site and the grass is overgrown. Yet one devoted fan regularly visits the park, "making his way through the overgrowth and garbage, to a spot where he can meditate for an hour or so." Serenity now? Pass the hand sanitizer.
