Fox News just released a list of its favorite "revival cities" for visitors with Detroit taking a top position followed by Pittsburgh, PA; Buffalo, NY & Minneapolis, MN. We impressed their travel journalist (who you will notice called Sarah F. Cox for a comment) with Eastern Market, affordable housing, flourishing art, sports tourism and local graffiti artist “Shades.” Has Detroit really gone from "wasteland to wonderland" as the article claims? Well if you just stick to the touristy parts (and you know, this being a travel article no need to go investigative in the far Southwest) it just might seem so. At least the whacked-out Tim Burton version.
