Wow, Wayne County! Just wow! You have 22,500 foreclosed properties? At least. That is just the number you are adding to the foreclosure auction? That is quite a jump from last year, in which the annual public auction had 14,300 properties. Well we hope you make some money for this broke-ass city.
To recap: Wayne County's September and October foreclosure auctions are an annual tradition, but this summer they threw in a curve ball! There was also a June 2012 auction, which consisted of the leftover properties from last fall. According to The Detroit News, that last round sold 1,000 foreclosures.
