Ladies' Day on Hottest Week! Round 1, Heat 2 Starts Now

New, 40 comments

Round One voting for Hottest Brokers continues today. Congrats to the winner of Round One, Heat One who shall advance to Round Two! (See the final poll results here). And without further ado, let's check in with the ladies of Round One, Heat Two! First up, we have Liz Tintinalli from Real Estate One. She's up against Erica Collica of Max Broock Realtors. Let's get to know them both a bit better. Shall we?

Curbed: What do you love about your job?
Liz: I love my job because I am able to explain and express to others why Detroit is a place that can offer possibilities and choices.
Erica: EVERYTHING. I grew up in the business and started working for a real estate developer when I was 16 (now 28). I studied Fashion Merchandising in San Francisco and truly missed the real estate business in Metro Detroit. I love meeting new people everyday, the fast pace of the business (never a dull moment), and really helping people (corny as it sounds) lol. I tell it like it is to my clients realistically and at the end of the day, they appreciate it and everything works out. And as sick as it sounds...I LOVE the smell of drywall. It excites me.

Curbed: Where do you live?
Liz: I currently reside in Brush Park. I own a condo within my community which I lease out, but I live in a larger loft because I didn't want to leave the neighborhood.
Erica: I currently live in Birmingham, however, I just signed my lease at Broderick Tower (and I'm dying with excitement by the way!).

Curbed: What's the hottest listing you have sold, listed, or shown recently.
Liz: My favorite listing is 702 Canfield-- although it needs work its potential keeps me motivated that the right buyer will come along and buy it: someone that shares the same belief in its potential.
Erica: That's a tough question-there are a few but my ultimate favorite is a home I sold in Bloomfield Hills ...mid-century modern ranch, gleaming hardwood, floor to ceiling windows, metal roof, and metal suspended deck that overlooks the tree tops.
