If you have the money, you can live more like a king/queen in Detroit than anywhere else. This home would sell for a few million in most other places. I have family looking to buy a two bedroom home/condo in L.A. and minimum price is 200 K. In Brooklyn, my sister owns an apartment now worth about $425 K (trust me, it wasn't worth that much in the late 90s when she bought it), with an HOA of $800/month. My point is, this mansion, like many others in Detroit, is a steal. Granted the neighborhood isn't exactly West L.A., but people with big homes tend to stay in their homes, and or jump in their car when it's time to take care of stuff. -Anon [Buyer Nabs 11,000 SF Mansion For $410 K In Cash Sale]
